Amsterdam
More canals! I saw some things in Amsterdam that I never dreamed I would see when growing up in that Monastry in Spain... The Dutch capital is a bit like Bruges, but bigger, less pretty and with more things to do there. Apparently Amsterdam is famous for having the world's oldest stock exchange, but such things don't really concern a small bear like me. Amsterdam is also famous for other things. I got quite a shock when I went into a coffee shop to get my customary cup of coffee - they didn't even sell any coffee in there! I also saw some women in windows, like a shop for women. My friend, Filip the travelling bear told me what he thoought was going on but I can't say I believe him. In any case he told me it would be frowned upon to have my photo taken there so I moved on.
There were a few other things that scared me in Amsterdam. I had a huge amount of difficulty crossing the road as my little legs could not get me accross quick enough to avoid the bikes, cars and trams. In the end I climbed into a backpack and travelled in there. I was also attacked by a viscious polar bear when I was looking into an ice bar. Thankfully I was rescued but I will remember that moment for a long time.

This was a very scary moment - I was attacked by a large, fierce polar bear. Luckily I did manage to escape.
I didn't expect to see these big lizards in Amsterdam (that city was full of amazing sights, sounds and smells) so I took a ride on one.
I needed all my teddy balance to keep up on this bollard. There were many of these around the city so they must be quite famous.
Everyone in Amsterdam cycles so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
I wanted to show you all this picture but my advisor told me it wouldn't be good for my reputation. Sorry.
