Barcelona
What travelling bear wouldn't have Barcelona near the top of their list of places to go? The second city of Spain is full of culture and exciting places to go. I had fun trying to find all the Gaudi buildings, including the amazing Sagrada Familia. The photos below are from the mountains of Montserrat, located just outside Barcelona itself. Although I did see Barcelona, I was still quite a shy bear at this point and didn't want to be photographed in front of all the other tourists. One day I hope to go back here and see if I recognise any of the Monks, and to take in the atmosphere once more.
This is the Montserrat Monastry near Barcelona where I was born and where my story begins. As you can see I still wear the Montserrat shirt proudly, I haven't forgotten my roots! In this picture are examples of the many people that used to come to visit us.
My first ever picture! I could tell straight away I liked the camera - this is in the courtyard outside that famous Monastry where the monks would occasionally come out and look around. Before this, I had never been out here - I only saw it from inside the Monastry. Imagine my excitement!
This is a religious dude near Montserrat Monastry, he reminds me of Manuel, my favourite monk. Look at the way he regales the passing people, birds and travelling bears.
